This neutral tone, cacti-inspired mural was painted on top a faux concrete wall as the backdrop of this Phoenix home office. The two-tone wall mural creates a focal point for the room, and allows visual movement for the eye, making the room feel larger.

TOST by Tostitos

Phoenix, Arizona

For the 2023 Arizona SuperBowl, FritoLay created pop-up experiences all around downtown Phoenix free for the community to enjoy. One of those experiences was TOST, a pop-up restaurant by Tostitos.

The design played with shadows and patterns from the well known silhouette of Camelback Mountain, which is central to the Phoenix Metro area. The mural was designed within 2 weeks and painted in 2 days to help transform the space.

Designed and painted while at Wall and Wall in collaboration with Muse & Co.

For the design of this room, we wanted to pull inspiration from the beautiful salt flats surrounding the office space. We pulled the large shapes from the arial map and added playful lines and dots to abstract the design further. The inspiration is a hidden gem that you would not gather unless you knew the backstory.

For this collaboration, we combined our distinctive individual styles to create a perfect mesh of both geometric and organic shapes. It is an exploration of heat and ice, warm and cool, sharp and soft.

An interactive pop-up space at the annual conference aims to engage our audience to learn about the history of technology within higher education. When you touch the wall, nostalgic sounds come on to tell the story. On the left wall, we asked guests to submit one word that explains what their passionate about. We then translated them into illustrations and painted in the frames throughout the event. Guests came back to celebrate their passions painted on the wall.
