Nicole Poppell also known as NNUZZO (pronounced new-zo) is a freelance multidisciplinary designer and artist previously based in the San Francisco Bay Area and now residing in her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. With a background in Interior Architecture, and after years of experience working with the top design and experiential firms, Nicole has gained a wealth of knowledge in design direction, project management, brand strategy and custom art installations and has worked with clients including Google, Facebook, Adobe, WeWork, Salesforce, Verizon, and Hashicorp among others.

Nicole founded Mural Mates in 2021 and is open for project collaborations including large and small scale wall murals, 3D art installations, and art curation.

Her personal work is inspired by the strange and imperfect forms found in natural elements, and her approach is typically bold, strategic, and conceptual. She believes design is, and should be, a holistic approach at all scales including the product, branding, architectural, and customer experience.

Her work as been published in publications including Fast Company, Wired, the Smithsonian, Taxi, and more.
